Azure

Azure for production AI.

BtSavvy's Azure posture: deep on the Microsoft AI stack, governance-fluent, and the canonical substrate for Governed Enablement engagements.

BtSavvy's posture on Azure

Azure is the cloud where Microsoft's AI strategy concentrates: Azure OpenAI Service for frontier-model access, Azure AI Studio for orchestration, Microsoft Fabric for the data plane, and the Microsoft Power Platform (Copilot Studio plus Power Automate) as the canonical low-code AI runtime. For organisations with material Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or Microsoft Fabric estates, Azure is structurally the right cloud regardless of which cloud the IT function would prefer to standardise on.

BtSavvy's Azure posture is deep where the Microsoft AI stack concentrates and pragmatic where it does not. The firm builds against Azure's native primitives directly (no provider-abstraction layer) and treats Microsoft Power Platform as a first-class runtime for the Governed Enablement service rather than a low-code afterthought.

Which services carry Azure

All eight FORGE services apply on Azure. Four carry Azure-specific depth most often:

Cloud. Azure landing zones, Azure Policy, Microsoft Entra identity architecture, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. Azure Verified Modules and the Cloud Adoption Framework are the working platform-level primitives.

DevSecOps. CI/CD on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, with deep integration into Azure-native deployment primitives: Bicep, ARM templates, Azure Container Registry, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service.

Build. Application engineering on Azure-native runtimes: AKS for containers, Azure Functions for event-driven systems, Azure OpenAI Service for managed model access, Azure AI Studio for multi-model orchestration.

Governed Enablement. Microsoft Power Platform (Copilot Studio plus Power Automate) is the canonical low-code AI runtime the Governed Enablement service brings under one governance spine. Business-built Power Platform systems are held to the same governance, observability, and guardrail discipline as engineer-built systems.

FORGE on Azure

Factory on Azure produces the customised builder against Azure's APIs and an accelerator library calibrated against Azure primitives: Bicep module discipline, Azure Policy authoring, Azure OpenAI Service quota and content-filter configuration, Microsoft Fabric data-product patterns.

Observability on Azure uses Azure Monitor as the substrate, with retrieval-quality, guardrail-trigger, and calibration-skew signals instrumented as Application Insights metrics and Log Analytics queries from the first build.

Review on Azure produces signed gate logs against Azure-specific gates: landing-zone provisioning, RBAC role assignment, Azure OpenAI Service deployment registration, Power Platform solution promotion, production deployment. Power Platform deployments specifically (solutions promoted Dev → Test → Prod) carry the same gate discipline as engineer-built systems.

Governance and Trust on Azure uses Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud regulatory-compliance dashboards, and Microsoft Purview as the policy-as-code substrate. EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001 conformance evidence is emitted from these tools continuously, not assembled retrospectively.

Expert Intelligence on Azure uses Azure OpenAI Service for frontier-model access, Azure AI Studio for orchestration, and Azure AI Search for retrieval. The firm fine-tunes against models surfaced through Azure OpenAI Service and against externally hosted models where the workload requires it.

Engagement-pattern sketches

Representative patterns FORGE is built to deliver on Azure:

A Microsoft Power Platform deployment under Governed Enablement governance. A Copilot Studio plus Power Automate solution brought under the same observability, guardrail, and gate-log discipline as an engineer-built system. The Governed Enablement service exists specifically because business-led adoption on the Microsoft stack must not be governance-second-class.

An Azure OpenAI Service deployment with Microsoft Purview lineage. A frontier-model deployment using Azure OpenAI Service, with Microsoft Purview tracing data lineage from source through Microsoft Fabric to model invocation, and the full traceability genome bound from prompt to deployment.

A Microsoft Fabric data-product foundation for an AI portfolio. A Microsoft Fabric lakehouse with FORGE Data Foundation discipline (data products, lineage, and agent-ready retrieval) as the substrate for multiple downstream AI workloads.

Evaluate FORGE against an Azure workload.

A FORGE Diagnostic takes one Azure workload you select and engineers a working slice of it (your standards, your requirements, your security controls and governance, full CI/CD from the first commit), deployed and running, then produces a signed readiness assessment and a proposed next step.
